Marbella property market update
We know by now that the Marbella property market has been in strong recovery since 2012. We also know that many homebuyers and investors were drawn back into the market by attractive prices that in some cases were 50% lower than at their peak in 2007, that the average price correction was nearer 30% and that properties in the most sought-after locations never really lost value and have begun to increase in price again.
Looking forward to 2014 in Marbella
What does all of this mean for Marbella? Well, it’s fair to say Marbella’s economy is way ahead of the rest of Spain, having begun to grow again in the course of 2012, and building on this growth ever since. Much of this resurgence is thanks to a healthy dose of overseas investors who see the town as an ideal investment opportunity and consistently strong lifestyle choice. With this in mind, Marbella estate agents are advising buyers to purchase now while prices are still low. There are still many great deals to be found, but they are being snapped faster and faster, and prices are expected by many to begin rising again by the end of next year, so if you are interested in a Marbella property now is a good time to contact us and see what the market offers.

Figures released recently by Spain’s Ministry of Public Transactions have revealed that the number of property purchases by foreigners during the third quarter of 2011 increased by almost a quarter on last year’s figures.
