Marbella named top luxury holiday destination of 2013
It’s renowned for being a firm favourite among well-heeled, wealthy celebrity types, so it comes as no surprise that Marbella has been voted the top luxury holiday destination of 2013 in a recent poll. The former sleepy little fishing village beat the likes of Ibiza, St Tropez and even Barbados to win the coveted title. During the study members of the public were asked to vote for their ideal holiday location from a list of ten celebrity hotspots. Not surprisingly Marbella, which is known as a playground for the rich and famous, scooped first place with more than a third of the vote.
