Marbella spends €550,000 on repairing promenade

It’s without a doubt one of the most pleasant ways to spend a day in Marbella. Many people who visit the town love nothing more than to meander along the 11 kilometre promenade (Paseo Marítimo), which runs between the historic centre of the town and the relatively newer Puerto Banús with its multitude of flashy cars, yachts and shops. Along this seductive seafront walk you’ll encounter plenty of beach bars (chiringuitos), typical restaurants, swaying palm trees, sandy beaches and views over the sparkling Mediterranean, the Rock of Gibraltar and even as far as the Moroccan coastline.
