When people talk about or visualise Marbella, they sometimes have a tendency to overlook the eastern part, which extends from the town all the way to Calahonda.
Within this area you will find a succession of beautiful beachside and inland residential areas following either the shoreline or the contours of lush green golf courses.
The residential areas that extend eastwards from Marbella include the elegant, peaceful Río Real, which boasts proximity to sandy beaches and one of the most attractive golf courses on the Costa del Sol. It is an established, exclusive area noted for peaceful, tree-lined streets, but Altavista has created here La Finca de Marbella, a select country club featuring modern villas, townhouses and apartments surrounded by landscaped gardens and a private clubhouse.
Continue on and you come to Bahía de Marbella, which features the finest sandy beaches and dunes in the region, as well as lovely views back across the Bay of Marbella. The area is also home to the Marbella Rugby Club, and just across the coastal road is Santa Clara, a residential area with its own 18-hole golf course. Continuing on are Los Monteros – site of the iconic five-star hotel of the same name and some of the most exclusive beachside villas in the Marbella area.
Further on is the older but equally attractive residential area of El Rosario, where villas of different sizes can be found, as well as renovation opportunities.
Las Chapas is a highly exclusive villa suburb marked by its extensive cover of coastal umbrella pines, which add to the sense of peace and privacy of the area, while its neighbouring Cabopino extends from a pretty beachside area and marina up along the fairways of a panoramic golf course.
It is here that we have created the luxurious apartments of La Montesa de Marbella and the beautifully styled detached villas of the CaboRoyale.
