Enjoy Halloween in Marbella.
Although not a Spanish tradition, Halloween, known as the day of the witches, ‘Dia de las Brujas’ in Spain, is enthusiastically celebrated in Marbella. Whilst you can’t go trick or treating around your urbanisation, you can take advantage of the many Halloween parties taking place in the restaurants, bars and nightclubs around the coast, many of which offer prizes for the best dressed, a special Halloween menu and live music and entertainment. Not only does this allow you to release your inner child by dressing up as your favourite ghoul, ghost, witch or superhero, but Halloween also makes for the perfect night to explore your local area and make friends, especially if you have just moved to the area. Here are just a few of our favourite Halloween events taking place in the Marbella area on Saturday 29th October. The Beach House located in Elviria hosts a family Halloween party each year, which includes live music, a three-course meal for the adults, special children’s menu and children’s entertainment—perfect for those who want to enjoy a night out with friends without excluding the children. Olivias La Cala – owned by ex TOWIE star Elliot Wright, the swanky restaurant in La Cala de Mijas is sure to attract Marbella’s elite, not to mention a few celebrities, to its Mexican-themed Halloween party taking place from 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at €20.00 and include a complimentary drink on arrival. Located on the Golden Mile, towards Puerto Banús, stylish beachfront restaurant and bar, Besaya Beach promises a fun filled evening with a live DJ, welcome cocktail and prizes for the best dressed from 7.00pm—the perfect place to begin your night before continuing on to the renowned Puerto Banús to party the night away in true Zombie fashion. La Sala makes for the perfect venue to do just this. Here the real party starts at midnight! Promising a true Fright Night experience with impressive decorations and scary performances, La Sala is a favourite venue of Marbella’s socialites so you just never know which A-lister you might be standing next to in fancy dress. These are just a few of the parties, which are set to spook Marbella on All Hallows. Most of the bars around the marina in Puerto Banús and the port in Marbella also make a special effort on this witchy evening. If you prefer not to plan ahead and take the evening as it comes, a good old fashioned ‘pub crawl’ is sure to make for a fun filled evening.
