Marbella Beach Clubs are open again!

Beach clubs are re-opening in Marbella.

As Easter approached this year, Marbella residents as per tradition looked forward to the re-opening of the numerous beach clubs in the area that play such an important role in the Marbella lifestyle – for visitors and residents alike.

Marbella is fortunate to have so many high-end beach clubs providing a combination of luxury sunbathing, beautiful pools, excellent food and top-tier service.

Marbella Club Hotel Beach Club

The Marbella Club Hotel is internationally famous and its luxury beach club, located only a few steps from the sea, is a favourite with celebrities. Guests can relax on luxury sun loungers and dipping into heated saltwater pools. The Marbella Club is also renowned for its superb daytime buffet, which celebrates the flavours of Europe, Asia, Lebanon and Spain, and uses only the highest quality fresh ingredients.

Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa

The Puente Romano Beach Resort offers guests an enticing selection of fine dining restaurants, a Six Senses spa and a beach club with year-round heated pool. Guests here enjoy a drink while relaxing by the pool, and the club’s lunch buffet with grilled meats, fish and salads is a feast for the eye and stomach. The beach club is open from mid-April until October and its prime location provides direct access to a beach with a seven-kilometre long beach promenade. Jet skis, sailing, banana rides, paddle surfing and more are available from June to September.

Ocean Club Marbella

Located in Puerto Banús, Ocean Club is a very popular beach club that is famous for its poolside champagne parties and music events where guests dance around the large saltwater pool. Ocean Club offers guests extra large sun beds as well as a chic and stylish restaurant that is part covered, part al fresco, and serves a delicious range of dishes using top quality products.

Mahiki Beach by Sala

Situated in central Marbella near the Fuerte Hotel, this new addition to the Marbella beach club scene is an expansion of the international Mahiki brand. It is a “Spanish chiringuito meets Tiki bar” in style and has a relaxed, feet-in-the-sand vibe. The Tahitian décor complements the fantastic cocktails, with the Mai Tai being a particular favourite alongside the Coconut Bomb, served in a fresh coconut. Mahiki Beach also has an espetero grilling sardines and paellas, fresh fish and other dishes traditionally associated with Mediterranean cuisine.

Trocadero Playa Beach Club

Just east of Marbella, the Trocadero is a Marbella institution where you can relax and sunbathe on luxury loungers whilst admiring the Mediterranean. It is famed for its restaurant, which sources all its fresh ingredients from local markets. The ‘espetos’ of sardines are a great favourite with guests, who return annually just for this authentic and delicious experience.
